Kiernan Shipka Talks “Mad Men” Ending in Marie Claire April 2015

Thanks to her role on the hit AMC series “Mad Men,” Kiernan Shipka is well on her way to a long and successful acting career, though she certainly has potential as a model as well!

The darling 15-year-old actress is featured in the April 2015 issue of Marie Claire magazine and it sounds like her last day on the set was a tough one- “It was very bittersweet — a really good time, but very sad. Lots of tears.”

Of her character Sally, Kiernan explained, “Sally is very strong and independent. Very perceptive, too. I don’t think she’d want to be friends with me, but I’d love to be friends with her!” And she loves getting fan mail- “A lot of fans will address me as Sally — which I take as a compliment. Like, ‘Oh, I hate your dad! Your mom’s the worst! I want to give you a hug.'”
